Newspapers, Organizations Across Kansas Endorse Nancy Boyda

TOPEKA, KS - As Election Day nears, endorsements of Congresswoman Nancy Boyda's re-election have begun flooding in from newspapers and organizations across Kansas and the United States.

Further endorsements are expected between now and the election.

Boyda: Bill Gives Rural Kansas Veterans Better Access to Medical Care

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States House of Representatives has today given thumbs up to H.R. 1527, the Rural Veterans Access to Care Act. This legislation allows veterans enrolled in the health system, who live over 60 miles from a VA hospital, to receive primary care from a non-VA health care facility. The program can also be used by veterans where travel to a VA facility would cause a hardship or other difficulties.

In the 2004 and 2006 election seasons, Congresswoman Boyda also aired no advertisements on September 11th.
